(1) The employer shall make appropriate arrangements for the prevention and control of infectious diseases at the workplace.
(2) If a worker has to be treated for an infectious disease, he can be prevented from coming to work during the period of treatment.
(3) If the sick leave of such worker is insufficient to provide treatment according to sub-section (2), the employer may instruct the worker to adjust to other leave or to stay on special paid leave.
(4) It shall be the duty of the concerned worker to follow the instructions given under sub-section (3).
